In the heart of East York, we tackled a project that was more than just fixing up an old bungalow – it was about restoring safety and comfort to a cherished home. The floorboards in this cozy house were in dire straits, making even a trip to the bathroom a risky endeavor. With joists that had seen better days, we knew we had to act fast.
EMIAN Construction Group stepped in, reinforcing each joist with sturdy 2×8 counterparts, ensuring stability underfoot. But our work didn’t stop there. We revamped the kitchen and bathroom from scratch, transforming dated features into modern marvels. Goodbye, wobbly floors; hello, solid ground.
The transformation didn’t stop indoors. Leaks were plaguing the north exterior wall, threatening the integrity of the entire structure. So, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work. Out went the old siding and drywall, replaced with fresh insulation, sturdy plywood, and sleek new siding. Every window got an upgrade, and we even tackled the root of the problem by swapping out worn shingles on the roof.
